Turquoise

The name Turquoise means Turkish Stone, because trade that brought it to Europe that used to come via Turkey. Pure Blue color is rare; mostly it ia interspersed with brown, dark gray, or black veins of the other minerals on the host rock. It can also be ingrown with Malachite.
